MISSION & HISTORY.
49th Parallel was founded to be an organization that brings people together to give back to the city of New York. Being Canadian citizens who moved to this city over the past several years, it’s given us and many others a platform to build incredible careers and networks, and we wanted to build something that would connect with and give back to the communities that have offered us so much. With large and diverse networks of hundreds of young professionals in the New York area, the concept is to host unique events and experiences throughout the year, with each one dedicated to a charity partner with the goal to share its work, find new volunteers and ultimately raise funds to support their goals.
